On January 29, Craftsman State School N4 of the Ministry of SE of Gyumri together with "Endanik" Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of SE of the RA organized an event entitled "Call for ... Spirit, Mind, Victory" dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army.
The aim of the event was to evaluate the role of the Armenian Army as a guarantee of statehood and independence, to promote military-patriotic upbringing of teenagers and students, to inspire the younger generation with the example of courageous soldiers. The ceremony was attended by the commanders of Gyumri's Garrison 55035 military unit, Sukias Avetisyan the Chairman of RPA Gyumri-2 regional organization, Yura Alexanyan the Chairman of Shirak Regional Council of Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, veterans of war, freedom fighters, chief of the 4th military commissariat of Gyumri, Major Zareh Zorayan, members of the Shirak Regional Writers' Union, directors of educational and cultural institutions, media representatives, as well as graduates of the school, military servicemen and parents, participants of the April four-day military operations. The event was marked by a solemn opening of the RA State Flag by the Honor Guard, followed by anthem of Armenia accompanied by the newly created Brass Band of "Endanik" center. In the solemn part of the event, Major Zareh Zorayan awarded with letters of appreciation the Headmaster of N4 Craftsman State College in Gyumri Knarik Aharonyan and Senior Lieutenant Mnatsakan Gevorgyan, a grateful letter from the Ministry of Defense handed over to the college graduate, soldier, sergeant Artem V. Tsarukyan's parents for keeping the honor of the Armenian warrior, for bringing up him as a patriotic child and courageous fighter. They also encouraged the graduating students to keep the honor of the sacred duty of homeland protection, their dignity and the honor of the school, the parents of the soldiers were venerated.Discharged young men presented flowers to them, wishing to Armenian land peaceful life, and a good return to their sons.For the contribution to the close cooperation with the school and the students' military-patriotic education, the college administration issued a letter of gratitude to the deputy commander of the Gyumri Garrison 55035 military unit, lieutenant colonel Armen M. Grigoryan. The event was followed by a festive part.Patriotic songs and dances, patriotic poems, refered to the fact that an Armenian soldier takes will , courage and loyalty with him to the army.Students and children of Center's fighting arts group through demonstration exercises introdused their skills gained from military science and physical training courses.The participants presented the history of the formation of the 26th anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces, battling and winning wars, giving the full meaning of Homeland, Independence and Solidarity.They also shared their impressions, highlighted the necessity of organizing such events, which are the spiritual support and honor to servicemen and their parents."As the descendants of the Armenian nation, we have to hold the title and honor of being Armenian." the future soldiers and students who continued their sacred duty in this willing spirit, promised to follow to the example of heroic fighters for the peace and security of the nation and their homeland.
