Armenian letters… Armenian… these are the treasure of the Armenians, the hope of our people and the power of the preservation of identity in all the times.
On June 30th in the “Endanik” youth creative center the best works and the works which won prizes was exhibited as a result of the contest entitled “Golden Armenian”, contest which was lasted till July 3rd.
About 70 works done in different styles of art were presented for the participation in the contest which began in February, 2015. The authors of the works were the pupils of different groups of “Endanik” center and pupils of painting groups of village Toros, Goghovit, Tsoghamarg communities.
The aim of the exhibition was the presentation of the Armenian alphabet through different works of the applied arts, the revelation of talented pupils, the development of their creative thinking and aesthetic taste.
Artists, leaders of communities, directors of schools, pedagogues, parents, pupils were present in the opening of the exhibition. They watched and expressed their admiration about the creative works, each of which was the evidence of Armenian’s identity and permanency. The pupils’ creative approach to letters of the Armenian alphabet was a reference to the Armenian history and cultural crossroads, respect and bow towards the Armenian great people.
The event was ceremonially closed in the hall of the center, where director Arthur Minassyan awarded the authors of the works of the first three places with diplomas.
Four teenager from village Toros and “Endanik” center were awarded with encouragement diplomas for their active participation in the exhibition-contest.
The three days lasted exhibition had many observers and visitors. The works were highly appreciated by the art lovers.
