A Cultural Bridge from Akhalkalaki to the World of Great Armenians

The series of events entitled “Masters of the Pen and Brush: Avetik Isahakyan 150 and Martiros Saryan 145” continued in Javakhk as well, at the Akhalkalaki Youth Educational and Cultural Center, where Armenian young people took part in a creative and educational initiative centered on the lives and art of the classical masters of Armenian culture.

During the event, the students of the center presented poetry recitations, literary analyses, artistic readings, and a plein-air exhibition of paintings rich in colorful imagery. The young participants reflected on the patriotism and profound human emotions expressed in Isahakyan’s works, as well as on the sunlit Armenia revealed through Saryan’s colors.

An important component of the initiative was the creation of a cultural dialogue between the youth of Armenia and Javakhk, their ideas and spiritual explorations. The event held at the Akhalkalaki Youth Center was vivid proof that culture knows no borders and that the legacy of the great Armenians is a unifying force, regardless of geographical distance.

The program is implemented with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and on the initiative of the Endanik Center.
