An Artistic Event Entitled “The Moving Body within the Sounds of Tigran Mansuryan” Was Held at the “Endanik” Center

An artistic event entitled “The Moving Body within the Sounds of Tigran Mansuryan” was held at the “Endanik” Center, dedicated to the creative legacy of Tigran Mansuryan, one of the most prominent representatives of contemporary Armenian music and a renowned composer.

The participants of the event were students of the Center’s dance group, who, through choreographed performances, conveyed the artistic depth and emotional world of Mansuryan’s music, transforming it into movement, plasticity, and stage expression.

The aim of the program was to explore the influence of Tigran Mansuryan’s music on dance, offer the audience a unique sensory experience created through the combination of music and movement, and contribute to the development of the students’ creative thinking, stage culture, and multifaceted perception of contemporary Armenian art.

The concert program featured choreographic interpretations of Tigran Mansuryan’s renowned works, including “The Tango of Our Childhood,” “Melody of Love,” “Autumn Sun,” “A Piece of Sky,” and “The Song of Old Days.” Each performance conveyed, through the language of dance, the diverse shades of memory, love, longing, hope, and human emotions embodied in the music, giving them a new and original interpretation.

The event emphasized that Tigran Mansuryan’s music has long become not only an integral part of Armenian classical and film art, but also a source of creative inspiration for various forms of art. The students’ stage performances demonstrated that music can not only be heard but also expressed through bodily movement, emotions, and characters, creating a complete and compelling artistic image.

The audience’s warm reception and prolonged applause became the best recognition of the young dancers’ performance skills and creative work.
