An exhibition entitled “The Armenian Alphabet in the Spirit of Miniature Art” was held at the Shirak Regional Library.

The exhibition was jointly organized by the students of the Creative Journalism and Miniature Art groups of the Endanik Children and Youth Creative Center and the students of Gyumri State Vocational School No. 4.

The event was a beautiful manifestation of Armenian script, miniature art, and educational cooperation, bringing together the study of cultural heritage and creative work on a single platform. The exhibition focused on artistic interpretations of the Armenian alphabet in the style of medieval bird-letter and animal-letter scripts. Each artwork was accompanied by an author’s commentary, revealing the stylistic spirit of medieval art combined with contemporary accents.

Recitations dedicated to the Armenian script and the great Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan were presented, creating a solemn and inspiring atmosphere. The students prepared symbolic bookmarks featuring bird-letter designs and explanatory content, which they donated, together with a Holy Scripture book, to the regional library.

In return, the library director presented the Endanik Center’s library with Robert Engibaryan’s literary work “Oh, Marie.” The Endanik Center, in turn, presented Director Seda Gevorgyan with a certificate of appreciation for close and effective cooperation.

At the end of the event, representatives of the library delivered speeches, emphasizing the important role of such initiatives in preserving and passing on national cultural heritage.

The exhibition “The Armenian Alphabet in the Spirit of Miniature Art” became an important initiative for discovering and appreciating national values, bringing together writing and art around one inspiring idea.
