As part of the “Master of Culture” program, cultural events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the renowned composer and qanun player Khachatur Avetisyan continue.

The next stop of the program was the Akhalkalaki Youth Educational and Cultural Center in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia, where an artistic event and creative meeting entitled “Music That Walks with Us” were organized.

The event brought together the Center’s students, educators, and young art enthusiasts around a common idea: discovering and appreciating the rich creative legacy of Khachatur Avetisyan.

Artistic performances reflecting the spirit of Armenian folk music and the vitality of national culture were presented.

As part of the program, a thematic plein-air session entitled “Reflected Melodies: A Dialogue of the Arts in Decorative Creations” was also held. During the session, the participating students expressed their impressions and emotions inspired by the composer’s music through the language of visual art.

The creative works featured national colors, images of the Armenian natural landscape, and the young participants’ emotional perceptions of music.

The event once again emphasized the important role of art and culture in educating generations, fostering self-awareness, and preserving national values.
