As part of the “Master of Culture” program, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned composer and qanun player Khachatur Avetisyan, the second phase of the program was launched at the “Rafael Javakh” Educational and Cultural Institution in Ninotsminda, Javakh, becoming a unique celebration that brought together national culture, spiritual values, and art.

The artistic event entitled “Music That Walks with Us” brought together students and educators from Ninotsminda’s educational and cultural groups. The event began with a visit to St. Sargis Church, where the participating students received a blessing from Reverend Father Armash Poghosyan, the spiritual pastor of the church. Under the arches of the church, Arevik Tanasheyan, head of the academic vocal group of the “Endanik” Center, performed spiritual hymns, conveying profound meaning, spiritual warmth, and the spirit of national identity to the occasion.

The program continued at the “Rafael Javakh” Educational and Cultural Institution with a joint cultural event featuring creative performances and artistic presentations. Alongside the event, a thematic painting plein air entitled “Reflected Melodies” was organized, where the students sought to express the emotional color palette and national tones of Khachatur Avetisyan’s music through visual art.

The program aims to promote the rich musical legacy of the great master, pass national cultural values on to younger generations, and foster an informed and appreciative attitude toward art.

The event held in Ninotsminda once again demonstrated that culture and spiritual values possess the power to unite, becoming a strong bridge between generations and an important foundation for preserving national identity.
