On February 2, the Gyumri “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia launched a series of events titled “The Army Is Our Fortress and Stronghold,” dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army.
The event aimed to strengthen the ideals of defending the homeland and preserving independence, as well as to foster a military-patriotic spirit and a sense of heroism among teenagers.
The event began with a military march, followed by the entrance of the state flag of the Republic of Armenia and the performance of the national anthem.
Numerous congratulations were expressed on the 25th anniversary of the powerful and combat-ready Armenian Army. The role and importance of army building were highlighted as an undeniable guarantee of our victories and revival, security, and achievements.
During the event, the students performed inspiring dances and patriotic songs.
“Serving in the army is a great duty, while serving in the victorious Armenian Army is both a responsibility and an honor.” Guided by this determination, the future soldier-students, who are ready to continue the sacred mission of defending the homeland, pledged to follow the example of heroic warriors and tirelessly struggle for the peace and security of the nation and the borders of the homeland.
The event concluded with a joint performance titled “Hayrens” by the students of the Center’s dance and ethnographic singing and dancing groups. The beautiful dance performance accompanying the song made a strong impression on the audience, expressing the heroic and indomitable spirit of the Armenian people, the power of faith, and the inseparable connection with the Armenian sacred script as a crucial factor in preserving national identity.
As part of the program, events are also planned to be held at a military unit and in the rural communities of Ashotsk and Yerazgavors in Shirak Province.
Happy anniversary to our victorious Armenian Army, and may your service be blessed, Armenian soldier! May your arm be strong, your will unyielding, and your courage inexhaustible.
