**“Music That Walks with Us”: Khachatur Avetisyan’s Musical Legacy Celebrated in Tashir**
The cultural event entitled “Music That Walks with Us”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of renowned Armenian composer and kanun player Khachatur Avetisyan, was held at the Tashir Cultural Center. The event was organized within the framework of the “Master of Culture” program, with the support of the “Endanik” Children and Youth Creative Center and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
The evening brought together art-loving audiences, cultural figures, educators, and members of creative groups, uniting music, dance, visual arts, and national cultural values under one roof.
During the event, a variety of performances based on the works of Khachatur Avetisyan were presented.
The Tashir Cultural Center, the “Endanik” Children and Youth Creative Center, and the dance and artistic ensembles of Katnarat community performed together on stage. The performances were distinguished by a high level of artistry, preservation of the national spirit, and the creative potential of the younger generation.
Visual art was also an important component of the event. Guests had the opportunity to view the works created as part of the painting plein air “Reflected Melodies: A Dialogue of Arts in Decorative Creations.” Created on site by the students of the “Endanik” Center, the displayed artworks reflected Khachatur Avetisyan’s musical world through colors, forms, and national symbols.
At the end of the cultural evening, the participants joined in a traditional group dance to the sounds of the dhol and duduk.
