On October 25, the series of events entitled "The Sound of Joy" started in April at the "Entanik" center of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports was summarized.

The aim of the project was to evaluate the great Komitas as a cornerstone of the development of Armenian song, a pioneer of musical ethnography, to present his rich heritage and unique creative style.

On the occasion of the jubilee anniversary of the "savior" of Armenian music, by the initiative of the "Entanik" center, a regional creative competition was organized - concerts in the communities of Ashotsk, Ani, Amassia, Haykadzor, Jrapi, Haridjavank, in educational and cultural institutions of Javakhk.

The final event brought together the directors of various educational institutions, cultural centers, teachers, artists, parents, creative teenagers from Javakhk and Shirak region. The honorary guests of the ceremony were Narine Simonian, a French-Armenian organist, Marie Mueller, a French-Armenian singer and Mireille Cassar, a French artist and singer

After the exhibition of the award-winning works presented in the creative competition, and the artistic interpretations of the teenagers of the communities, the attendees listened to organ music. The guests performed the works of Komitas, Nerses Chnorhali and Henry Purcell.

The director of the "Entanik" center Arthur Minassian, summarizing the series of events implemented by the center, thanked the directors and teachers of educational institutions cooperating with the center within the framework of the project and presented them with certificates. "Today we listened to real Armenian music, we enjoyed classical and religious music that we miss in Javakhk. Cooperation with the center "Entanik" has been going on for decades, thanks to the exchange of experiences, we have achieved a close friendship, which has yielded results, which has played an important role in the education and upbringing of our generations in the fields of culture and education. Our students have a lot to learn from today's concert, to take with them. We must return to our roots, to our origins and preserve our centuries-old Armenian culture," said Karine Tadevossian, head of the Akhalkalak and Ninotsminda youth educational and cultural centers.

Marie Mueller and Mireille Cassar received certificates for the presentation of Armenian classical music.

Diplomas and medals were awarded to participants who won prizes in the competitions of painting, decorative applied arts and of radio electronics in different age groups, who will visit the Komitas Museum-Institute-Pantheon on November 2 as an incentive.
