With the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the Endanik Children and Youth Creative Center launched a series of events entitled “The Master of Culture.”

With the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the Endanik Children and Youth Creative Center launched a series of events entitled “The Master of Culture,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Khachatur Avetisyan, People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, composer, and qanun player.

The program was launched with the announcement of the republican creative competition in the field of decorative and applied arts, entitled “Colors of Sound: An Artistic Interpretation of Avetisyan’s Sounds.”

A seminar entitled “Khachatur Avetisyan’s Role in the Revival of Armenian Folk Music” was also held at the Center.

The seminar was led by ArEVik Tanashyan, one of Armenia’s leading classical and opera singers, who presented the creative world of the great master and the gems of his rich artistic legacy.

The event was accompanied by performances of Khachatur Avetisyan’s renowned compositions, which the speaker also interpreted, revealing their artistic value and distinctive features.

The event was an important step toward preserving and appreciating the national musical heritage, highlighting Khachatur Avetisyan’s exceptional role in the development of Armenian culture.
