"Endanik" Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia from December 25 to 27 conducted an event entitled "Snow World of Fairy Tales" in Ashotsk, Goghovit, Torosgyugh, Tsogamarg the mountainous and frontier rural communities of Shirak region.
The goal of the project was to convey a festive mood to communities, to decorate communities with New Year's Eve decoration, to develop cognitive interest and creative abilities of children, and to instill the desire to "awaken" and preserve nature. Within the framework of the program a fairy tale and sketch contest on the theme "Unfinished Christmas Tale" was announced. The students of "Endanik″center in Gyumri and in the above-mentioned communities created interesting essay characters in line with the selected fairy tale. The teenagers from the communities and educators received their peers with great enthusiasm and warmth. The participants were looking forward to see the outcome of their own thoughts with great enthusiasm and joy. After the division of the group, the teenagers began the process of embodying the heroes of the aforementioned fairy tale. Each group hurried to see the end result. And getting snowy statues, they formed the work and arranged according to the fairy tale. The pupils of the center filled with New Year's ornaments and fairy-tale scenes with their unique wishes.
The best works were evaluated by the Center's management and specialists. Active teenagers of the communities and "Endanik" center were awarded with diplomas.
The event titled "Snowy World of Fairy Tales" ended with New Year's song and dance, recitation and a round dance. Following to the formation of healthy lifestyle in the communities, winter sports and traditional games were also been organized in communities. In the communities welcomed that interesting and meaningful initiative and expressed readiness to organize such events by themselves and make it a tradition ahead of Christmas and New Year holidays.
The festive and joyful atmosphere of the New Year was spread everywhere, marking the start of the coming year.
