On April 29, in ″Endanik″ Youth Creative centre of the Ministry of SE was held an event entitled "My Soul Dances like a Crazy Wind ...” dedicated to the International day of dance. The goal of the program was to introduce Armenians national values, folk dances and traditions, the origins and history of dance, to evaluate the role of dance as important cultural element. The students of ″Endanik″ centre’s dance group and students from Ashotsk community, performed dance performances of different styles. The same day, "Endanik" centre’s dance ensemble along with dance groups from different communities of Shirak region participated in the regional event, organized by the School of Dance of Gyumri’s municipality. During the celebration center's students introduced performances "Gyumri ‘s joke" and "A series of folk dances" expressing atmosphere of Gyumri, breath and spirit of dance. The group leader of "Endanik" centre’s dance ensemble Murad Torosyan was awarded a diploma by the headmaster of Gyumri’s dance school S. Gasparyan for his excellent work on International Dance Day, as well as for the long and impeccable work in dance art.
