“Modern Armenian poetry woke up on the mountain Shiraz”

On March 19, literary event of genius poet and unique singer of mind of the
20th century Hovhannes Shiraz dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place in “Endanik” youth creative center.
The opening of the event was announced with natural and mild, soft ripples, modulations of the poet’s sensitive soul, thus moving the participants to the world of Shiraz, where every word is a weapon for fascinating the audience.
Shiraz is a poet who came to remove the stain of the fear, that was injected in the Armenians and made them to speak with fear about their history and their gene for decades.
The life and the rich legacy, heritage left to the generations by Shiraz was presented by the pupils in the world of nature and charming, magical poetry of human soul, with fathomless depth of poetry and crystal cleanness.
The words pronounced from the lips of the children were taken new breath, thus giving everybody sensitiveness or taking everybody to the world of sensitivity.
The folk, minstrel lyrical and philosophical chords, strings of the poet’s lyre, harp were performed, sounded in Armenian and English.
The heartfelt performances of the songs were also summarized in them the hilarious images of the spring, eternally new, fresh and living, alive colors of the nature, mysterious combinations of the harmonious feelings, experiences of life and man existing, ruling in Shiraz’s poetry.
The audience enjoyed the divine, fabulous charm of the Hovhannes Shiraz’s poetry.
