On December 12, the final round of the 13th Armenian Self-Managing Robot Championship, entitled "Smart City", took place at the Olimpavan Center.
180 teams from the regions of the republic applied, 46 of which competed in the final.
The students of the radio electronics group of "Endanik" Children and Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science,Culture and Sport of the RA participated in the 13th championship of self-governing robots in Armenia. During the competition, robots designed by children were faced with various tasks. to respond to a gas leak, to put out a fire, to empty the trash can, to notice a passerby passing by, to stop or move depending on the color of the traffic light, and so on. The models presented by the students of the radio electronics group of "Endanik" Children and Youth Creative Center were approved, awarded with a diploma.
The aim of the competition is to encourage and publicize the field of robotics programming, to develop and to arouse interest in the engineering profession.
It should be reminded that "ArmRobotics" program to support the development and support of robotics in Armenia has been organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) since 2008.
