“Endanik” youth creative center in the frame of the program entitled “The silent witnesses of history” held seminar-discussion on “Genocide” according to the timetable on April 14 in the secondary school of Tsoghamarg and on April 17 in the secondary school of village Toros named after Alexan Hambaryan. The participants paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide under the pray of the spiritual pastor Lord Harutyun Petrosyan.The teenagers expressed their attitude towards such a phenomena. They fully realized and perceived the severity and consequences of the crime regardless of their age. All of them demanded the international recognition of the Genocide, thus never letting the repetition of such brutal and inhuman acts towards the other nations, as it is the impunity that leads to the recurrence of such crimes.
The directors of the schools of Tsoghamarg and village Toros A. Arshakyan and G. Hakobyan thanked and emphasized at the same time the importance of the organization of such events in the communities, as it will contribute to the expansion of the perceptions of the teenagers about genocides and will raise the national and patriotic spirit of the teenagers.
