On April 9, at Gyumri's Municipality complex Sport School after Aram Sargsyan took place an Open Championship of International order called "Oyama's Cup" dedicated to M. Oyama the founder of Kyokushinka Karate. 110 athletes participated in that championship from Russia, Georgia, Yerevan and from different regions of Armenia, as well as the students of ''Endanik'' center's Fighting Arts group. Seven participant students of the championship won prizes; 2 students became the silver medalist of 2nd place, 5 students bronze medalist took the 3rd place. Participants were awarded with certificates. Kyokushinka Karate -do black belt Sargis Vardanyan the group leader of Fighting Arts group was chosen as a chief referee, which was awarded a certificate as the best referee at the end of the championship.
