Օn June 25, at “Endanik” SNCO Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport was organized an event entitled “Colours of fashion” by the students of hairdressing and clothing modeling groups.
The aim was to present the knowledge and abilities gained by students from the professions of hairdressing and clothing modeling, to reveal the participants' ability to create the individual style of each student independently.
The event consisted of 2 parts. The first part was a competition with the participation of the students of the hairdressing group. The students created hairstyles of different styles according to the clothes of the "models". While they were doing their work the participants learned about the history of hairdressing.
In the second part of the event, the attendees watched the demonstration performance of the clothing modeling group. The future fashion designers presented the range of festive and everyday clothes they designed and sewed, quoted from the ideas expressed by famous designers about fashion. At the end of the performance students were asked about their knowledge gained in the center of the world of fashion and about the idea "best new is the forgotten old".
The demonstration performance of the students of the clothing modeling group was followed by the presentation and demonstration of the hairstyles created by the contestants.
While the jury was evaluating and summarizing the results, those present watch the performance of the students of the “Endanik” dance group.
As a result of the competition, Volodya Yeghiazaryan took the first place, Lilia Hovhannisyan took the second place, and Knarik Sahakyan took the third place. The students received certificates.
