On February 15, at 16:00 in “Endanik" Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of SE will be held literary matinee entitled "The Mage of Our Language" dedicated to Vahan Teryan's 133rd birthday,with the participation of center's bijouterie,machine embroidery and song art group's students. The aim of the event was to appreciate the contribution of the great poet in the heritage of Armenian literature, to introduce the students to Terian's life and activities, to share poet's exciting and spiritful works.
The event was organized by reading of Teryan's poems selected from the following collections "Mtnshaghi Anurjner", "Gisher ev Husher", "Yerkir Nairi''. which were interrupted by literary analyzes, discovering the honorable place of Teryan-Master in the Armenian poets of Parnass. Speaking about the linguistic peculiarities of Terian's poetry the students quoted assessments of prominent Armenian writers of classical literature. Longing , love for life and hopeless suffering, poet's deep and emotional warmth the students transfere to the attendants, depicting a glittering sorrow and silhouette of ethereal shadow .They could sensibly and quietly transfere Terian's emotions and experiences who was offended by life but at the same time was in love with it. By listening to his lyrical and daydreamy works, the audience found themselves in a world that is called Teryan's. Staying faithful to the tone of Teryan's poetic language and the musicality the poetry was trampled by Teryan's songs, which have already given birth to many generations and broughht deep feelings. As a conclusion, the parts were shown from the last days of Terian's life, the deathly poet's final “Farewell’’ sounded making the atmosphere more influential and impressive.
