On October 1, "Endanik» Youth Creative Centre of SE of RA within the framework of the program entitled "Gyumri's Day’’ had its active participation in the annual celebration of the City Day. The goal of the program was to raise interest in national craft and art, to exhibit the works of different branches of applied arts performed by the pupils, to promote cultural cooperation with other institutions and highlight the role of extracurricular education. On the initiative of ″Endanik ″ Center and with the participation of students of center’s dance, fighting arts, folk songs and dance groups the festive concert was organized for the citizens, in the St. H. Mtsbnetsi church yard of Ani district. The festive mood had also continued at Kirk Kerkorian Avenue, where Traditional Crafts Festival took place. At the exhibition the center presented robots and the handmade works of its students. The works of the students reflected their dedication to national culture and traditions and were aimed at their restoration and preservation. For those interested in national crafts and art, the center's students have shown carpet, rug, pottery and silver jewelry making process. ″Endanik ″ center’s students thought and handmade works with national and traditional combinations made a great impressions on the residents of Gyumri, municipal and regional authorities, and, of course, the president of the country. President Serzh Sargsyan inquired about the work of the students of "Endanik" center, asked questions about the design and application of the displayed samples; encouraged them to study the robotics sector in details, to continue the creation and to promote the city's cultural development. Center‘s Headmaster Artur Minasyan handed over a miniature of the Gratitude Memorial to the President of the Republic of Armenia, which was made on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the school foundation, which symbolized the pain of the people who survived the catastrophic earthquake, divine love and human devotion, the beginning of a new life, full of hope, light, and knowledge.
