The book donation day is of exceptional importance in terms of strengthening the reader-library connection. it further emphasizes the importance of the book and the library. The best gift is a book, and giving a book is a mission, a pledge of our spiritual awakening. On the birthday of the All-Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan, the Book Giving Day was held by "Endanik"SNCO Center of the RA. The students of the theater arts, journalism, media literacy, groups of the institution participated in the joint event entitled "The Apartment in the Attic" in the Shirak regional library. The students of the theater arts group filled the literary atmosphere with the Tumanyan breath, presented the performance of the brilliant poet Hovhannes Tumanyan's "Barekendan" tale to the audience. The teenagers read the works of Armenian writers, modern literature, exchanged literary ideas, and of course, due to the advice of the day, they gave each other interesting books. The day of gifting a book also has the purpose of inheriting the love and worship of books handed down to us for centuries to the new generation. The presentation of a collection of poems by Gyumri modern writer Ara Artyan  "Light Rises from the Ground " , written in the last years of his life and published after his death, was held at "Endanik" center. With great responsibility and dedication, the students of the center, the students of Gyumri State Craftsman School No. 4 read and recited from the works of Ara Artyan's collection at the artistic event. The recordings of the poet's poems dedicated to the patriotism of his hometown, Gyumri, were played, after which the students presented Ara Artyan's literary thoughts on the themes of love, tolerance, neighborliness, his experiences and feelings. They commented and analyzed the feeling of the latter's literary inner world. The poet's widow and pen pals were present at the literary event. At the end of the event, writer Shnorik Shahinyan, a member of the Union of Writers of Armenia, Ara Artyan's widow, shared her feelings and impressions and spoke about the legacy of her husband in the literary world.

"I want to thank the management of the educational center, the organizers of the event, and of course this generation who willingly learned and got to know Ara Artyan. Knowing modern literature and writers is difficult now, but as long as you are students attending such a center, the pulse here is in the right place. My husband was a really wonderful writer, and understanding what you recited, I can confidently say that we succeeded. Read and never stop reading from the great writers to the creators of our days, believe that our future is in education, our Armenian preservation is in education," said Shnorik Shahinyan.

Robert Yesayan, a writer displaced from Artsakh, was also impressed by the performance art of the students and spoke with great admiration about their emotional and literary approaches.

"I want to start my speech with the gift of recitation of young people, I am delighted, you were able to convey to the audience the experiences, emotions and most precious feelings of the poet, the choice of works was also interesting, I like Ara Artyan's pen very much, he used to write in a unique way, it's a pity that my friend passed away a lot had something to give, I am sure that there will be those who will continue this legacy," said Robert Yesayan.

Shnorik Shahinyan was given a nice surprise: the portrait of Ara Artyan, which was painted by Hayk Sargsyan, a gifted student of the miniatures group. The poet's newly published collection is already being read by students. "Light Rises from the Ground" - it is true, the ground on which we stand firmly spreads light, light by education, literature. A bright future is the pledge of educating a literate generation, and that pledge is the offering of the light of eternity.
