The cultural diversity is humanity’s heritage


People has a general property, such as science, literature and great creatures of art, which  keep the stamp of genius during the centuries. That cultural heritage is an endless source for the humanity.

The annual visits and various cultural programs held in Artsakh became a tradition for the Ministery of Education and Science “Endanik” youth creative center of Gyumri. This year again the pupils of the “Endanik” center, headed by the director Arthur Minassyan, held a program entitled “The cultural diversity is humanity’s heritage” in Artsakh.
The aim of the program was to strengthen the relations between the teenagers of Armenia and Artsakh and the dialogue in the field of the cultural diversity, to instill the idea of unity and collaboration in teenagers, to introduce the cultural features, customs and traditions of different ethnic groups living in Armenia, to organize Master classes of national arts and crafts for the teenagers of Artsakh, to evaluate the role of youth in shaping Armenian statehood, as well as to stress the importance of the role of extracurricular education. 
The pedagogues and pupils of the “Endanik” center were welcomed by the deputy of Artsakh National Assembly Romela Dadayan and representative of staff Margret Taranyan.
A seminar entitled “Ethnic culture” was held in Khnapat and Khachen communities and for the pupils of the  school number 1 named after Khachatur Abovyan of Stepanakert, Master classes of pottery,  bead weaving, needlework, miniature, woodcarving and dance art  were organized, which aimed to the professional orientation and development of abilities of the teenagers. The interest of the pupils towards the branches of national arts and crafts was obvious.
The teenagers from Artsakh and Gyumri inspired by the ideas of unity and collaboration, created collective and individual works, where  Artsakh and Armenia were depicted as a single, complete state.
The participants painted on the canvas their feelings and perceptions of homeland and own history. The compositions were done with the Parajanov’s symbolic pomegranates, the blue of Minas Avetisyan’s brush and the shine of Saryan’s sun. 
The teenagers of Artsakh got acquainted with the works done by the pupils of national arts and crafts groups of the “Endanik” center, watched the slide show on the following theme “ The churches of the Western Armenia yesterday and today”, participated in the folk songs and dance performances thanks to the organized exhibition-event. The series of events was closed with the united roundelay.
The pupils of the “Endanik” center have a cognitive, educational visit to historical, sightseeing and picturesque places of Artsakh, to St. Ghazacnetsonts church of Shushi and St. Stephen church of Khachen, monastic complex of Gandzasar, where united voice of pray was raised to God and also they bowed down to the national liberation struggle heroes heroic activities in the Artsakh war memorial of the fallen soldiers. 
 
The teenagers valued the importance of the preservation of historical and cultural values and their necessity for the preservation of the Armenian identity thanks to the cleaning works done in the territory of the historical and cultural monuments of Artsakh. 
The next stop was at the military college of NKR Defense Ministery, named after Artsakh’s hero Christapor Ivanyan, where the pupils of the center participated in the demonstration of the military exercises, they had an opportunity to practice their knowledge and skills of combat readiness in the rifle range.
In the college the head of the department of patriotic education and NGO relations of Artsakh Defence Army, colonel B. Muradyan in the face of the director Arthur Minassyan, awarded “Endanik” center with the certificates of appreciation for the contribution to the  strengthening of the relations between Artsakh, Javakhk and Armenia.
The Member of Parliament Romela Dadayan awarded the pedagogues of the center with diplomas and souvenirs for the strengthening of the relations of Armenia and Artsakh, patriotic education, development of ecotourism and stressed the importance of such events, noting that the visits will be mutual, which will contribute to strengthening and deepening of friendly relations.  
The director of the center A. Minassyan awarded hosting directors, pedagogues and actively participated teenagers of Master classes with diplomas and prizes, and the library collections of the institutions were supplemented with numerous books.
