"Endanik" center. Gyumri lives ... Spiritual songs reborn...humanism is rooting

On december 6, ″Endanik″Children and Youth Creative centre's of the Ministry of Education and Science song  art group participated in the 4th regional festival of spiritual songs, organized by the Shirak regional council, dedicated to the 1988 innocent victims of the earthquake.
The event was held in St. Hakob Mtsbnetsi church in Gyumri with participation of musical and art schools of the province, children's and youth centers' choirs and other individual performers.
The aim of the festival was to make aware the pupils of spiritual works, to gain professional experience, to pay tribute to 1988 the martyrs of the earthquake.
Many heart-rending performances were listent by the faithful people. At the festival, "Endanik"centre's  band  and the head Arevik Tanashian performed "Mother and Virgo", "Gohar Rose", "Rejoice Today" spiritual songs. The performance of the students was impressive and influential. Shirak governor's advisor, Honored Worker of Culture of Armenia Hasmik Kirakosyan awarded diplomas from Shirak regional council to the singing group of "Endanik" Children's and Youth creative center of  Ministry of Education and Science and opera singer, laureate of numerous international competitions, Arevik Tanashian, the head of the center's song art group.
Hasmik Kirakosyan particularly touched upon the performance of the newly created singing group of "Endanik" center. After the event the students and the pedagogical community prayed at the church on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of Spitak earthquake, lit candles, put flowers and bowed to the Renaissance monument.
The students returned home with a reinterpreted covenant to remember, pray, to live and to create, with the desire to rise. All performances on the eve of  December 7 became a dedication to memory of innocent victims.
