"Endanik" children's and youth creative center continues to conduct professional orientation master classes in border and mountain communities. The next stop of professional orientation master classes was in Sizavet community of Ashotsk region.
For the formation of the worldview of teenagers, it is especially important to get acquainted with folk art, which is maximally preserved and passed on to new generations seasoned with national traditions developed by the people. Farms in the Ashotsk region are mainly engaged in animal husbandry and sheep breeding, but there are few farms that also use it for craft and art. Getting acquainted with folk traditions, teenagers realize their personal connection with the roots of their native land. In the master classes of embroidery and carpet making, the teenagers learned to make interesting woolen items, traditional household pots from clay, fine works of stained glass, miniatures, tapestry, and beadwork. Kindergarten teachers also willingly participated in the classes.
