From 11 to 15 of September " Endanik" Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of SE held the second phase of "" Endanik" on the Wheels" educational program. It should be noted that the program was launched in May, including mountainous and 14 bordering rural communities of Shirak region and cultural - educational institutions from Javakhk, where the "Professional Orientation" classes were held for adolescents in various fields of craft and art.
The aim of the educational program was to highlight the role of extracurricular education, to reveal preferred professions in the field of arts and crafts in rural communities, to promote their dissemination and preservation; to direct adolescents in professional orientation, to contribute to the discovery and development of their capacity; to strengthen inter-community ties between educational and cultural institutions. During the second phase of the program organized training courses on extracurricular education took part 20 teachers from Arevshat, Getap, Anushavan, Geghanist, Spandaryan, Karaberd, Dzitankov, Sarakap, Mets Sepasar, Krasar, Ghazanchi, Sizawet, Bavra, Tavshut communities’ cultural - educational centres of Shirak region, from communities of Akhalkalak and Ninotsminda cultural - educational centres. During the training courses the educators were introduced to the following themes "The importance of adolescents’ extracurricular education and Issues" ,"Study methods of Community Research Complementation and methods for identifying adolescents’ educational needs, and to the activities of professional groups in the center. Through the group work and using the gained knowledge, the participants raised the issues of their own communities, the necessity of preferred professions teaching and the prospects of its development. The results of the training were summed up in a roundtable discussion with the participation of "Endanik" center’s directorate and teachers. As a result of joint discussions the teachers shared their impressions and suggestions. Gohar Torosyan, a teacher at Spandaryan's secondary school, concluded his speech with the following words: Thank you for everything. Trainer educator A. Mkrtchyan’s and Deputy Director S. Petrosyan's work were coordinated and effective. The program will really contribute to the dissemination and preservation of cultural values in the field of national crafts and art in communities; will also contribute to adolescents’
self-expression and the possibility of their capacity assessment, their professional orientation. Susanne Hovasyan,the deputy director of the specialized educational assistance at Mets Sepasar secondary school, mentioned "I would like the courses to last a little longer so that I could get more experience and skill as in the village the daily life of the child is not full of cultural and social activities, I would like them to be involved in your fruitful and public activities. " The headmaster of "Endanik" center A.Minasyan congratulated the participants of the program and handed them certificates of participation in training courses. The final exhibition-event was attended by representatives of participating communities, educators, parents and students .The attendees watched a joint exhibition of the Center's students and community teenagers as result of the "Professional Orientation" classroom, summary video about 1st and 2nd phases of the program. The event ended with the artistic performances of the students from "Endanik" center and communities.
