On October 6, in the Reading Hall of the Mesropian Alphabet of "Endanik " Youth Creative Centre of SE took place an event entitled ″Teachers we bow before you″ dedicated to Teacher's and Translator's Day. The aim of the event was to emphasize the need of the creation of sacred letters as a powerful weapon survival of Armenian people, to inspire the children to keep the purity of Mesrop’s sacred letters and convey the idea of passing them to the future generations and highlighting the role of the teacher in the process of education and upbringing of the younger generation. During the event, the students expressed their gratitude and respect for the teacher's mission. With the teacher's image praised words, with poems and good wishes they directed their appreciation to the educators. Congratulating their professional holiday, the students underlined the Teacher's invaluable role and importance, their infinite devotion and love in the education of generations. During the event, the participants talked about the Translators' Day, presented the activities of Armenian great people in the creation of translating literature. It was an impressive performance by the theater group’s students on the need for the creation of the Armenian alphabet, through the images of Mashtots and his "pupils", which was followed by a video telling about the Armenian alphabet. The event was ended with the sentence from Solomon’s ″ Proverbs″ which was the first sentence translated into Armenian: "Recognize wisdom and pride, know the words of genius» as the definition of Armenians identity and the most important stimulus for preserving national identity.
