On October 26 and 27, the 36th Open European Championship in Kyokushin Karate for juniors, youth, and adults took place at the "Mika" sports complex in Yerevan.
Over 400 athletes from more than 15 countries participated in the championship, with the Armenian team represented by 100 athletes across the age groups of 12-17, 17-21, and 21 and older.
Sanasar Manukyan, a student of the martial arts group at the "Endanik" Youth Creative Center, became the European champion after four intense matches.
It is noteworthy that just months ago, Sanasar Manukyan was recognized as the runner-up at the World Championship for juniors in Kyokushin Karate held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The staff of the center congratulates the group's leader, Sargis Vardanian, and the athlete, wishing them new achievements and successes.
